2023 Stark County Agricultural Society Scholarship
The Stark County Ag Society is proud to announce that we will be presenting two college scholarships in 2023: The Charlie and Jeanne Swartz Memorial Scholarship and the Stark County Ag. Society Scholarship. Applicants must be Stark County Jr. Fair Participants, enrolled in further education (college or tech school) and a 2022 or 2023 High School graduate. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing an Agricultural related degree, but all eligible Jr. Fair Participants are encouraged to apply. Applications and requested documents must be received at the Stark County Ag. Society Office no later than August 9 at 4:00 p.m.
Stark County Dairy Committee Scholarship
Dairy Committee Scholarship of Stark County
Requirements:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a resident of Stark County, Ohio, be between seventeen and twenty-nine years of age, be pursing college-level study, have a 2.5 GPA, have participated in one or more of the Stark County Junior Fair Dairy Projects for 3 years or more, and have not received this scholarship previously.

This $1,000 non-renewable scholarship is available to graduating or homeschool high school seniors who plan to pursue one of the following agricultural career paths:
_____ Animal Management & Sciences _____ Sustainable Agriculture
_____ Environment & Natural Resources _____ Crop Management & Soil Conservation
Preference will be given to students who will attend Ohio State University or the ATI Wooster Campus. Applicants must show proof of being an active 4H member in Stark County for one or more years and provide a high school transcript maintaining a cumulative high school grade point average of not less than 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Preference will be given to homeschooled students. Application deadline is August 1st.
Scholarship application must be returned to the Greater Alliance Foundation, 960 West State Street, Suite 130, Alliance, OH 44601, by August 1st. In addition to the completed application and the 500 word essay, please submit a copy of your high school transcript, a copy of FASFA, and two reference letters.
