As you review the Dairy Feeder Rules for 2010, please note that all dairy feeder calves must be dehorned and castrated BEFORE tag-in in June. This has always been a rule in the past.
Starting in 2010, any dairy feeder calf coming to tag-in MUST BE DEHORNED and CASTRATED BEFORE tag-in in June. Any dairy feeder calf failing to meet these two (2) requirements at the time of tag-in will NOT be tagged for the fair. If your dairy feeder calf is not tagged, then the Jr. Fair exhibitor cannot show the calf at the fair. Please contact a Dairy Committee Member before tag-in if you have any questions or concerns.
